First Part:
Athina the angel was ensnared by her stepmother who was terrified of Athina's powers; Worried that using her powers and kindness she'll gain more power then her's and rule the whole seven kingdoms, she sent for her two personal guards to take Athina out of her bed in the middle of the night and throw her into the forest. When the guards returned she ordered to kill them both, then she cast a spell over Athina that she will be trapped inside the forest and never escape it until the dark angel will fall in love with her.

Second Part:
As time was passing by, Anthina was still trapped deep inside the ancient forest. Day by day, year after year she sat there whispering to the bats of the forest, praying they'll summon her saver. Sitting alone in the forest for all those years, the only comfort Athina could have was the thought that one day her whisper to the bats will be heard and spread all around the seven kingdoms. By the fifth year of her sadness she couldn't share any more tears. Feeling doomed and lacked of hope she started thinking about cutting off her wings, for this is the only way she'll lose her powers and become mortal. Hoping that by committing this act the spell will be cast away she took a sharp stone and started cutting off her wings. As she began doing it she suddenly heared a dark voice ordering her to stop. Athina tried to see where the voice is coming from, but all she saw was a shape hidden in the shadows. It wasn't long before the image came out of the shadows facing Athina. A dark creature rising up from the mud of the forest's swamp stood in front of her offering her to undo the spell, but in return to that, she will have to come with him to the sixth kingdom. After losing all hope and fear, Athina accepted the creature's offer and joined him to his master's kingdom, the Dark shrine.

Production Process:
The first part was created in just a few days. Took me a lot of time and thinking to create every little part in this picture like the hair, wings, legs, shirt, background & textures, stone and eveything else you see in it (By the way, the story was written by me as well; hope you liked it). The second part of the process took me over two weeks; Two weeks of thinking whether I should publish it or not and four more days of drawing the trees, the spirit flying above athina's head, the bats and the mud monster. I really hope it was all worth it and I didn't do all that work for nothing Please let me know what you think about it
